Buzz On Broad:
As we all know the Eagles season didn't quite play out the way we thought it would. Coming off of last season's 8-8 record, this year was bound for improvement. Man, were we wrong. Watching an Eagles game was extremely painful at times this season. Even our friends from Cover Sports and the awesome banner above couldn't help make the experience a little better. In this current season, due to injuries, poor play and several other intangibles, the Eagles are currently 4-9.
This season provided us with several coaching moves, player moves and offensive line shuffles. As for the coaching, this season more than ever, Philadelphia has been begging to "Fire Andy". This season brought us some positives towards the future with Nick Foles and Bryce Brown. With the firing of Juan Castillo and Jim Washburn, the major question comes to mind, will Andy Reid be back?
The 2012-2013 season is still underway, with the Eagles playing tonight at Lincoln Financial Field vs Cincinnati at 8:20pm. Right now the Eagles are fighting for pride, and/or a high draft pick. The season has brought Eagles fans to an all-time low, to a point where some fans prefer to lose for a higher pick. Here in Philadelphia, we give our hard earned money and time to support the team we love, and when that team doesn't compete, we get angry. Right, Santa?
Philadelphia gets a bad reputation because we boo when our "product" doesn't produce. In the real world, when something goes wrong, you don't keep letting it happen and says it okay. Philadelphia is the only city that gives the players what they give us. If they give us their all, we cheer; if they give a minimal effort (Jason Babin) we then boo and probably say hurtful things. That shouldn't define us, because in the end I wouldn't want to live anywhere else, and I am certain that you agree.
With the season being another disappointment, what do you think needs to happen? Leave us your comments in the section below on whether we need to blow up the team, or just fix some things. Do we need new coaching? Should we lose for a higher pick? Are you planning on drinking until it feels like 2004 again? Like our sweet banner? You can make your own banner and hope for a better season in 2013. Please tell us what the best fans in the world are feeling.

BEST OF MAXIM
Eagles QB Michael Vick was cleared to return by an independent league neurologist, but the signal caller won’t suit up against the Bengals, per Reuben Frank.
Eagles HC Andy Reid noted that Nick Foles would be the starter for Philadelphia the rest of the way no matter what happened with Vick, so it’s likely just a precaution keeping out Vick.
The Eagles will need a strong game...
The Philadelphia Eagles are taking on the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night Football where Mat McBriar, the Philly punter, had one of his own players knocked into him. He punt was blocked by the side of his own player for what was an extremely humorous play. If you could pick one play to represent the Philadelphia season, this would be a prime candidate. Not only does McBriar...
The Philadelphia Eagles will once again be without quarterback
Michael Vick and running back LeSean McCoy tonight when they take on the
Cincinnati Bengals as they recover from head injuries, and tight end Brent
Celek will be joining them on the sidelines after sustaining a concussion of
his own last weekend.
Vick and McCoy were cleared to return to practice earlier
YEAH, HE NEEDS THAT BACK
That was a helluva effort from the Eagles last night in the 2nd half of a 34-13 home loss to the Bengals. Andy Reid gets one last home game next Sunday against the Redskins before waddling off into the sunset in Dallas. Fly Eagles, fly. As for Cincy, this sets up the huge showdown next week against Pittsburgh. The winner most likely gets the final AFC playoff spot. Your morning...
NewsBefore you could even sit down to enjoy the game, Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin put the ball on the ground. The Bengals had noticed the carelessness with which the Birds handled the football and came into the game thinking about forcing fumbles. They’ve already got one early.
The offensive line isn’t getting a lot...
Congratulations! You have made your fantasy football playoffs. Now is not the time to try something new. That being said, Thursday Night Football gives you the Philadelphia Eagles against the slipping Cincinnati Bengals. Do you have a play here?QuarterbacksOkay last week Nick Foles was the No. 2 fantasy quarterback. He threw for 381 yards with two passing touchdowns and one running...
Judge…audience…people of the jury. What we have here today in front of us is a case so vile…so heinous…so uncomfortably dramatized by the writer that we must bring it to light so that others might find a way to ease this poor man’s suffering. BenJarvus Green-Ellis has been a stand-up RB2 for most of the year and his efforts have gone virtually ignored. For every bright...
So long, Eagles.
Up ahead for the Cincinnati Bengals, the only Pennsylvania team that truly matters.
Andy Dalton threw a touchdown pass and ran for another score, an opportunistic defense forced five turnovers and Cincinnati beat the Philadelphia Eagles 34-13 on Thursday night.
The Bengals (8-6) took a half-game lead over the Steelers for the last playoff spot in the AFC. But...
Late in November in an apparent cost cutting move the Philadelphia Eagles cut Jason Babin. At the time, while many people that I spoke to called it a blatant cash motivated move by a cheap owner I found plenty of reasons from a football sense to justify it. The recent decision to reduce Mike Patterson's salary after placing him on the non-football illness list is much more difficult...
While the Knicks were destroying the Lakers Thursday night, some of you may not have realized there was a football game going on between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Philadelphia Phumbles.
It was not a pretty game. There’s no way to even pretend it was. I hope you didn’t watch it. Especially if you were an Eagles fan.
Halfway through the third quarter, the Eagles actually had...
