The Rap Sheet:
So, Colts QB Peyton Manning was celebrated by Patriots fans. And former Super Bowl hero kicker Adam Vinatieri was… booed? Really?
It’s true. And Vinatieri didn’t seem to mind.
“They were nice to me except for a few of the kicks,” he said. “But that’s to be expected.”
Vinatieri called Gillette Stadium a “fun place to play,” called the fans “wild and crazy,” and recalled a “lot of good memories.” None came yesterday.
“People were nice after the fact,” he said to reporters, including the Herald’s Danny Ventura afterward. “Obviously, there’s a lot of gamesmanship going on out there at that point. I expect all that stuff. As I was leaving the field, there was some nice comments, so that was cool.”

During an interview, the injured Colts QB implied that Colts vice chairman Bill Polian's comments regarding the alleged discussion that occurred between the two about drafting a QB were taken out of context.
FOXBORO, Mass. -- Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri wasn't wearing pinstripes, but that's about all he had going for him during Sunday's loss to the Patriots at Gillette Stadium. The Patriot legend was loudly booed before, during and after his lone field-goal attempt -- to the point where he was asked if he felt like Johnny Damon when he returned to Fenway Park in a Yankees...
Colts quarterback Peyton Manning suffered a neck injury that has prevented him from playing this season, and while recent x-rays showed that he is recovering, he has no idea if he'll ever touch a field again. "It's hard to say (if I'll play again)," Manning said. "I was pleased with the doctor's news last week. Now I kind of start this phase two on...

Power rankings. You hate them. They’re so arbitrary and pointless, especially when they include all 32 NFL teams. All you want to know after a good week of NFL action is who the bestest team in the NFL right now, and which one is the absolute barrel-scraping worst. The one so terrible, it could be served on a Romano's Macaroni Grill menu. That’s why we have TOP AND BOTTOM...
For three quarters Sunday, the Patriots dominated the Colts. Then they held on for a 31-24 victory, their fourth straight win, running their record to 9-3, tied for the best record in the AFC (with the Texans, Ravens and Steelers) and two games clear of the Jets in the AFC East.
This New England-Indianapolis get-together was unlike the previous versions because the Colts future...
