“From Nnamdi to Cromartie, to Jason to myself…I know they are going to do some more things. It’s just beautiful to see where we’re trying to go. This is a Dream Team”
Ever since backup quarterback Vince Young muttered those words to the press back in August, many of us have felt like the Eagles were destined to fail. After last night’s embarrassing performance against the Seahawks, it’s safe to assume that the “Dream” is over after falling to a 4-7 record and a likely losing season.
So what went wrong for the Eagles? With that much talent on both sides of the ball, you’d think they could have at least lucked into winning ten games just off of talent alone. But it doesn’t work like that in the NFL. Just like Asante Samuel said not too long ago, the Eagles front office is trying to play fantasy football with a real NFL team and it just isn’t working.
Everyone, including Eagles defensive end Jason Babin, compared them to the Miami Heat of the NFL who amassed a trio of tale

We have had our fair share of anger towards DeSean Jackson, but last night the NFL Network took things too far. They portrayed DeSean Jackson as ignoring Vince Young on the sidelines, when it was pretty clear that Young was talking to Riley Cooper.

I just don’t even know what to say. Vince Young was just awful. I truly cannot wait for Michael Vick’s return next Sunday in Miami. Young’s inconsistency and his brutal turnovers are what helped the Eagles drop their second straight. He finished 17 for 29 with 208 yards, one touchdown pass (a shovel pass) and [...]
The Eagles have been one of the most disappointing teams of the year. Vince Young dubbed the Eagles the “Dream Team”, but that moniker sure doesn’t fit. The Eagles have lost three of their last four games as they have not been putting much of an effort up lately. The Seahawks lost a game that should have won last week against the Redskins, but they are a tough home team...
Every talking head on NFL Network's pre-game show picked Philadelphia to defeat the Seahawks tonight, obviously still high on "Dream Team" fumes and ignorant of the progress made by the league's youngest starting line-up in recent weeks. If they had been paying attention, they would have seen that aside from a youth-induced spasm of 3rd-down breakdowns in the 4th...
Here are three keys that each team must follow in order to come away with a victory in tonight's game at CenturyLink Field.Philadelphia Eagles:1) Establish the run. With Michael Vick and Jeremy Maclin both out due to injuries, the passing game will be a bit limited with Vince Young under center. If LeSean McCoy is able to play tonight, the Eagles must pound the rock and try...
What was just an incredibly disappointing season officially lost what sliver of hope remains,as the Philadlephia Eagles were officially eliminated from the postseason race with a 31-14 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Marshawn Lynch took advantage of the Eagles' porous run defense, Tarvaris Jackson played very efficiently, and Vince Young threw four interceptions in the loss...
Just a bit more than five minutes into the first quarter last night, fresh off the first of Vince Young’s four woeful interceptions, the Eagles’ defense was attempting to limit Seattle to a mere field goal, or, God forbid, force a red zone turnover … [visit site to read more]
I could tell you about the piss poor tackling. I could write about Marshawn Lynch’s stupid 15-yard touchdown run that set the tone. I could talk to you about Vince Young in what appeared to be his last game as a starter before hitting free agency … [visit site to read more]
