The Jets start the season with a new coach, new quarterback and new “Swaggerlicious” approach to their defense.
After flaming out at the end of last season due to Favre’s injury non-injury injury and a flagging defense, the team got a few new pieces in the offseason, traded some others but come back in 2009 poised as an altogether different team … we’ll see if that’s true today.
Keep It Simple Sanchez – We welcome a new era. Are we entering a time when there’s no more QB controversies year in and out? Man I hope so. I just was listening to Francesa and Simms on the radio, and Simms basically said he has no concerns for Sanchez long-term and considers him “the real deal.” While that may be true and we can expect this plucky young Southern California boy to lead this team to greatness in years to come, every journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step.
