What was Patriots TE Alge Crumpler raving about after the game?

As I usually do after games, I caught up with Patriots TE Alge Crumpler for some straight-shooting. Want some truth bombs? He’s the guy. And first, it was clear Captain Crump has a real appreciation for the Patriots-Colts rivalry. As he said smiling, “This is that game. Colts-Patriots. Good to be a part of it.” And he really did seem to be having a great time. I asked him, knowing the answer, if he enjoyed himself in the 31-28 win over the Colts. The reason why wasn’t what I expected. “I enjoyed myself and I enjoyed watching (rookie tight end Rob) Gronkowski in this one,” said Crumpler, sounding like a proud father. “He was very excited. He’s so locked in sometimes, it’s good to get that emotion out of him. He’s coming along.” Was he going nuts during the game? (more…)
