The Houston Texans released two-time Pro Bowl running back Joe Mixon on Friday, clearing $8 million in cap space. Mixon, 29, missed the entire 2025 season with an undisclosed foot injury and was heading into the final year of a three-year, $27 million deal he signed in March 2024.
