Dolphin’s nation it’s time to a big deep breath, yesterday the Dolphins finally had luck on their side as it appears Jake Long’s ankle injury is only a minor tweak and he should even be ready to go for the opener although that has yet to be fully confirmed.
The offensive line would have been quite the mess with rookie Jonathan Martin moving to left tackle in practice as without the presence of their leader and all pro left tackle.
The scare did shed some light as how fragile this roster is and how 2012 might not be the one where the Dolphins breakthrough. While I refuse to be to negative before the season even starts it is interesting to note that the Dolphins roster isn’t even as good as it was coming into training camp.
Garrard injury, Chad Johnson released, Vontae Davis traded, special teams stud Julius Pruitt released. While all moves were made by management the moves might have been more in preparation of building this team long term than improving the roster for this seaso...

The Miami Dolphins have continued to stress, since the end of the 2011 season that they are not rebuilding. However, many of their actions would suggest otherwise. On Sunday, the Dolphins traded a 1st round pick from just 3 years ago, for a 2nd rounder and a conditional 6th rounder. Trading Vontae Davis, the 2nd [...]
The Miami Dolphins needed to cut one final player in advance of the 4pm deadline on Monday to get their roster to 75 players. Julius Pruitt, listed on the Dolphins depth chart as a 2nd team wide receiver, didn’t expect to be that cut. It was thought that Pruitt would be a virtual lock to [...]
Proving that you don't have to be a fan of the NFL to play in it, Ryan Tannehill revealed in Tuesday's episode of HBO's Hard Knocks that he basically has no idea which NFL teams are in which divisions
The Miami Dolphins and former Texas A&M quarterback told backup quarterback Matt Moore he was "so lost on the divisions."
"I know our division and...
DAVIE, Fla. Each year in his NFL career, there were questions surrounding Reggie Bush. Could he live up to being the No. 2 pick in the 2006 draft? Could he be an every-down back? Could he stay healthy?
Now, as Bush prepares to enter his seventh season, critics are having a harder time finding fault with the Dolphins running back. Thats what happens after a 1,086-yard rushing season...
If you are a Miami Dolphins fan, I’m going to throw out a statement that I’ll bet covers about 90% of our fan base at this point in the season, ready for it? HC Joe Philbin and GM Jeff Ireland are not atop your good list. Ok I said it, now are you ready to [...]
Miami Dolphins offensive tackle Jake Long sustained a leg injury that forced him to leave Monday's practice, although the severity of the injury has not been determined. According to the Miami Herald, Long fell to the ground after blocking in pass protection. He remained on the ground for a few minutes, and eventually got to his feet. Trainers focused on the area between...
As a rookie in the NFL, Ryan Tannehill still has a ton to learn. Between memorizing the plays, adjusting to lifestyle changes and dealing with an incredibly steeper level of competition, the transition from college to the pros is always a challenge for any rookie quarterback. However, most rookies likely already know what division every team is in. Understanding the geography of...
This week’s episode of “Hard Knocks” was a vast improvement over the week before. Even if this season suffers for a lack of big personalities, the series is always able to tease quotes and tidbits out of players that we can use to make fun of them for the rest of the season, if not longer. And so it will be with Ryan Tannehill not knowing how the NFL divisions and conferences...
Chad Johnson is available in Madden 13 contrary to his Tweet today to the contrary.

Today on ESPN Radio, hosts Mike Salk and John Kincade took turns taking shots at the Dolphins after last night'sepisodes Hard Knocks. Whether it was Vontae David calling his Grama or Ryan Tannehill not knowing the NFL divisions, the two ESPN radio hosts thought that last night's episode was another reason why the Hard Knocks and the Dolphins might not be the best fit....
What’s this Jersey Kid doing in Texas Juan?
Reggie Bush has been hitting the malls and In N’ Out today as the Dolphins are getting ready for Cowboys today. Not exactly a pre-game meal, but it’s the fourth preseason game, so not much to learn about your starters at this point. It’s all about reps for the bubble guys.

Every once in a while, we have teams that seem to implode once they're eliminated from the playoff race. Those types of implosions raise questions about the team's intent, but they ultimately fade away once the playoffs begin.
Now, the Dolphins are causing some, including players on their own team, to question their motives in 2012.
