What's the Deal With Andre Gurode's Lion?

Matt Mosley at Hashmarks has an interesting post here about Terrell Owens' recovery. I think it's funny how Wade Phillips is playing games. We all know he'll be ready to play. But the observant Mosley saw something else in the Dallas Cowboys locker room: a bizarre lion statue. "The most interesting thing I encountered in the locker room was a huge statue of a lion sitting in front of center Andre Gurode's locker. I'll see if I can get to the bottom of that before the day is over." Yes, Mosley, please do find out what this is all about. Gurode played college ball for the Colorado Buffaloes, so the Lion can't be some college mascot good-luck charm. Did former Detroit Lions player Kyle Kozier give it to him?
