Whats with the Rams woes?

I've been a St. Louis Rams fan forever. I got into the NFL about the time Marshall Faulk got traded to the Rams from the Colts and have been a Faulk / Rams fan ever since. I have seen the absolute highs of the team; the days of the Greatest Show on Turf and super bowl rings. I have also seen and am watching the very lows as well. Last season we went 8-8 which I thought was ok since Jackson was just getting comfortable with being the premier back not only in St. Louis but being a big time back in the NFL. We had lost Bruce for a couple games and Holt was injured a bit as well but we still performed well at times. All in all I thought it was a good buildup year for this coming season. Many looked for the Rams to perform spectacularly this year. We added a couple pieces on defense, bolstered our already great offense, and most of all got accustomed to the coaching staff since they were in their second season. Many thought the Rams were going to be a definite sleeper team and able to win our weak division. Jackson was the #2 fantasy back taken in many leagues, receivers were finally healthy, defense was looking better than years past, it all seemed to be clicking in St. Louis. I guess we all saw something else because none of that is happening and this year is pretty much a lost cause. Our record is 0-6 and when you consider the fact that our offense got better and our defense should be able to stop teams from time to time, that is shocking. Our offense is not clicking on any level and their not able to get into any rhythm. Marc Bulger is injured because the o-line can't hold anybody and Bulger is getting smashed as soon as he gets the ball. Our receivers are dropping passes left and right and Steven Jackson got injured after he was supposed to have a monster season. Injuries seem to be the cause of our problems year after year and it seems like we can't get can't catch a break. We need to start getting younger and get our team better conditioned in the off-season in order to succeed. We have the tools we just have to make sure we use them in a smart way and get back to the level we used to play and go back to being the "The Greatest Show on Turf".
