The Oakland Raiders have two of the top free agent running backs in this year’s class with Darren McFadden and Rashad Jennings. McFadden is no surprise even given his injury history. He has unique physical gifts that make him one of those players that defensive coordinators need to game plan for. Everyone saw how much of an impact Percy Harvin made in just one game on the field in the Super Bowl after missing most of the season for the Seahawks. Jennings, on the other hand, was a free agent in 2013 as well and was no where near being in any top free agent running back list. But when McFadden went down with injury, Jennings stepped up to the plate and showed that he is capable of handling the duties of a starting running back. He runs with a lot of power and has enough speed to have broken off an 80 yard run in 2013. But in cover32′s recent top ten list of free agent running backs, most in the Raider Nation would likely flip the rankings given to their 2013 running backs. Jennings, who most Raiders fans strongly want back in the Silver and Black next season is ranked sixth, while the injury prone McFadden, who most are ready to say good bye to, ranks third.
