Inside the Bills:
Justin Rogers has a bigger role on defense the rest of the way with the season-ending injury to Terrence McGee. The question is where does Rogers feel he’s improved the most since those early days of training camp.
“Definitely the playbook knowing my assignments inside and out,” Rogers told Buffalobills.com. ”When I first got here I was trying to grasp the whole playbook, but even when I knew what I was doing I was still thinking out there because I wasn’t 100 percent comfortable with it. Now it’s like second nature and I know the call, my assignment and I’m just reacting instead of thinking.”
Playing faster and more instinctively will be important against a Jets receiving corps that boasts some Pro Bowl level talent.
