When the St. Louis Rams found out that they would be without the services of Jo-Lon Dunbar for four games due to him violating the league’s substance abuse policy for PEDs, fans in St. Louis immediately looked at the schedule to see who the Rams were playing during the season’s first four games.
And it is not pretty.
The Rams start the season at home against the Arizona Cardinals and while on the service it feels like an easy win, the Cardinals offense will be plenty different with the additions of quarterback Carson Palmer, running back Rashard Mendenhall and a revamped offensive line.
Then the Rams travel to see old friend Steven Jackson and the Atlanta Falcons in Week 2 which will be an emotional game for both sides. Not only will the Rams not have Dunbar to help stop Jackson, but they could also use Dunbar to hold down Tony Gonzalez as well.
