As the opening of NFL training camps draw closer, it’s looking inevitable that the Cleveland Browns will be moving QB Colt McCoy either through a trade or even an outright release. Two reports surfaced Friday that the Cleveland Browns are only seeking minimal compensation in return for Colt McCoy, perhaps a sixth-round draft pick. The jury remains out as to whether or not McCoy can become a starting caliber quarterback in the NFL, due in part to the fact Cleveland never really surrounded him with a high level of offensive talent. However, McCoy does come with a cap-friendly salary for the next two seasons. Which NFL teams might be interested in Colt McCoy? Green Bay Packers- The Packers have been linked to McCoy because of their use of the West Coast offense. Signing McCoy would mean the team would have to carry three quarterbacks, something the Packers did not do until late in the season last year.
