Former Arizona Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt interviewed for the head coaching job with the San Diego Chargers on Saturday. Whisenhunt confirmed the meeting on the team's website. "I have great respect for the San Diego Chargers," Whisenhunt said. "Every time I've played them, they've been good football teams and we had battles whether I was in the AFC or the NFC." Whisenhunt was fired as Arizona Cardinals coach after a 2012 season that included a nine-game losing streak. In six years with the Cardinals, his teams posted a 45-51 record. The highlight of his tenure was reaching the Super Bowl after the 2008 season.
