Whitworth discusses labor mediation, Carson

Bengals LT Andrew Whitworth, who is the team’s NFLPA union rep and a father of 3-day-old twins Sarah and Andrew Jr., took some time this morning to talk with The Enquirer about the NFL and NFLPA agreeing to mediation and what it could mean for ongoing negotiations as the March 3 deadline to work out a Collective Bargaining Agreement and avoid an owners’ lockout looms. Whitworth also spoke about QB Carson Palmer’s request to be traded from the organization and what he believes led to the request.
