Boston.com: “I think it was kind of directed at, towards me and Deion [Branch] a little bit," Welker said today on WEEI's Mut and Merloni show. "We were giving him a hard time that his knee was down and we didn’t know what he was doing on the bench over there. He better get his butt up and get back out on the field because his knee was down and so he’s like, ‘what are you talking about, I was in.’ So I think they caught him at a perfect moment where we were just kind of just jawing back and forth and things like that." There you go! Brady wouldn't speak to this for some reason, probably in fear that the headline, "Brady curses teammates" would get picked up in a newspaper. Wes Welker is a little better with getting humor across. Remember when Brady tried to say the fans should get liquored up and it turned into a whole fiasco?Pretty funny glimpse into the jarring that goes on between some friends on the offense.Watch the video here

Tom Brady uses salty language on sidelines

In yesterday's New England Patriots - Buffalo Bills game, the officials reviewed Tom Brady's rushing touchdown in the 3rd quarter to make sure his knee didn't hit the ground before the ball made it into the end zone. After the officials confirmed the ruling on the field and deemed it a touchdown, Bills fans got a bit restless, and Tom Brady responded to them by saying...

Wes Welker Takes Care Of Business vs. Bills

Patriots receiver Wes Welker didn't find the end zone Sunday but he was still able to make nine catches for 129 yards as New England captured its second win of the season.Fantasy Spin:Two weeks ago, fantasy owners were talking about Welker being through. Now he appears to be right back where he was a year ago as one of the most dangerous receivers in all of fantasy. His role...

Tom Brady scores, says “F*** you, ********** on TV

After his rushing touchdown under review was upheld, Mr. Brady has some kind words for the Buffalo fans.  His teammate Wes Welker thinks it’s pretty hysterical. Patriots WR Wes Welker Will Handle Punt Returns In Julian Edelman’s Absence

It was predictable, but Wes Welker will handle the punt return duties today with Julian Edelman out of the mix. Welker has a fair catch in his only punt return this season, and he is typically used in tense situations against the goal line. Patrick Chung appears to be Welker’s backup. Edelman has averaged 10.5 yards per return this season, which is the 12th best mark in the...

Comments from the Other Side - 9/30 - Buffalo Bills

Comments from the Other Side is back this week! We skipped last week because I doubted any Patriots fans would want to hear Ravens fans gloat. No one on twitter seemed to have a problem with that. Bills fans were very up and down this game, mostly down. They hated Fitzpatrick one minute, loved him the next, and then went right back to hating him. There were a lot of excuses made...

Auburn QB hoping for turnaround against Arkansas

Quarterback Kiehl Frazier spent much of Auburn's open date watching film of passers such as Chad Henne and Tom Brady trying to improve footwork and timing. Frazier says he thinks he'll ''look a lot different from LSU to Arkansas.'' He's certainly facing a more vulnerable defense with the Razorbacks giving up nearly 350 passing yards a game entering Saturday...

Daily Links: Denver Broncos News – 10/4/12

Denver Broncos News The Denver Broncos head back to Gillette Stadium to face the New England Patriots and I just can’t help to feel that we may just have a team that can compete with Tom Brady. [DenverBroncos.com] The tale of the tape is all about bowing down to the alter of Brady and the Patriots.  Barely worth the watch, but one must always remain objective. [NFL.com] Judging...

Much-maligned defense delivers for New England

As explosive as New England's offense was during its second-half surge against Buffalo on Sunday, the Patriots defense might have been the ringleader for the quick turnaround. While quarterback Tom Brady was busy orchestrating another patented comeback, leading the offense to 580 total yards of offense and 45 second-half points, New England's defense actually ignited the...

Patriots 52, Bills 28

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Tom Brady threw three touchdown passes, Brandon Bolden and Stevan Ridley each rushed for more than 100 yards and the New England Patriots defense forced six turnovers in a 52-28 rout of the Buffalo Bills at Ralph Wilson Stadium Sunday afternoon. Brady completed 22 of 36 passes for 340 yards as the Patriots rolled up 580 yards and scored 45 second-half points...

Patriots still dominant after blasting Bills

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Reports of the New England Patriots demise and the Buffalo Bills rise proved premature. Reeling from consecutive losses and a sub-.500 record for the first time in a decade, the Patriots overcame a two-touchdown deficit and showed that the gap between them and their AFC East rivals remains significant with a 52-28 thrashing of the Bills at Ralph Wilson Stadium...

Pats buck their own trends in win over Bills

The New England Patriots have made some uncharacteristic plays this season. Fumbles, penalties, missed kicks, dropped passes and bad offensive play calling contributed to the Patriots 1-2 start. With their backs on the wall, down 21-7 at Buffalo, the Pats needed to make some plays we aren't used to seeing the 2012 team make. New England did that, and the Patriots are now 2-2...

The Fantasy Football Chameleon – Week 5 For 2012 Fantasy Football

As we all dwell on leaving Brian Hartline on our bench or Waiver Wire, let us not forget that he was playing with a rookie QB against a defense that had shut down Tom Brady and Michael Vick in back to back weeks. Let us also not forget that going into Sunday, Hartline had only made more than 5 receptions in a game once in his 3-year career. And finally, let us not forget to get an...
