However, he has proven over the past preseason games that he has enough speed and drive to play in the NFL. But the final decision rests on one key factor. His height. But Banjo should win the starting safety position, regardless of his height, for three different reasons.               First, Banjo should start as the safety because he is only five foot nine. General manager Ted Thompson has held to height requirements for defensive players since he took over from Ron Wolf. Thompson has broken his rule by using Banjo. Banjo recognizes that his height will be a factor and is willing to do what’s necessary to keep his opponents from getting the jump on him. That means playing smarter and faster then his opponents...

  • I couldn't agree more. I'm sick and tired of the other Packers Safety's pointing their fingers at the corner as if to say "It's your fault"! How many times have we seen Morgan Burnett, McMillan, or Jennings do just that. I have a idea, don't let every damn receiver get behind you so the corner if beaten, at least knows his Safety is there and not just pointing at him letting 79000 people know, yup Mr. Safety, we know it was you!
