Chicago Bears Football — It appears that wide receiver Brandon Marshall is very positive about the potential number three wideout Marquess Wilson for next season. Earl Bennett is no longer with the Bears due to a contract dispute, so Wilson is the next man up and he could provide a huge bolster to the roster. “I really want to talk about Marquess Wilson. He came down and trained with us the whole off-season… This guy, he’s probably the steal of the draft last year. I’m going to say that.”- Brandon Marshall Marquess Wilson’s Bright Future   Last season the Chicago Offense broke several franchise records and were the second highest scoring team in the NFL. Wilson’s two catches for 13 yards illustrated that he was not one of the main contributors; however, given the opportunity he has the potential to be a very good player for what is shaping up to be a very explosive offense under head coach Marc Trestman. In what may be the biggest reason to look ahead with anticipation to next season is the firepower that the Bears’ offense possesses on the field. Quarterback Jay Cutler has a great arm and Alshon Jeffery and Brandon Marshall are widely considered the best receiving tandem in the league, while Martellus Bennett appears to be the perfect fit at tight end. Throw in Matt Forte, one of the best running backs in the league, with his combination of speed and fantastic receiving ability and you have have the makings of a real threat. When Marquess Wilson is added to the mix, it may be the toughest offense to plan against, let alone try to stop. If Brandon Marshall is excited about the new kid on the block then fans can be justified in feeling optimism as well. In fact, if any Bears fan isn’t excited about seeing what may be a record setting team next season then they will have to go to the mirror, take a deep and long look, then pull the brain-sucking alien off of their heads which is sucking all of the fun out of their football. ____________________________ Photo: beargoggleson.com Source: sportsmole.co.uk The post Why is Brandon Marshall Excited? appeared first on Sports Mockery.
