Not really Bentley, his lawyer, but still. Why do we have to keep reading about the 2006 staph infections? Why can't the Browns just write a check to Bentley like they wrote to Joe Jurevicius so that we can all put this behind us? Bentley has the very same lawyer. How hard does it have to be? With Bentley currently working for ESPN radio here in Cleveland, ostensibly to provide commentary on Cleveland Browns football, isn't it especially awkward? Wouldn't Bentley want to do everything possible to keep this out of the papers? If Bentley's attorney doesn't talk to the Plain Dealer, or say anything to anyone about the suit, is it an above-the-fold headline? Is it even on the front page? As terrible as staph is, as much as the Browns might owe Bentley here, and as much as Bentley has every right to pursue a remedy in court, now's when we have to note that Bentley's "analysis" on WKNR last season with respect to the Browns was the very worst...
