Found January 07, 2012 on Cat Crave:
The Panthers’ season may be over but the NFL season is not. Wild-card weekend is upon us after an entertaining regular season is in the books. For some fans whose teams didn’t make the playoffs the season is over. For myself, I love watching playoff football. The intensity is something that can’t be replicated in a regular season game; it’s win or go home for those that made the playoffs and that’s why I love the playoffs. Let’s get straight to the picks. … [visit site to read more] Wild-Card Weekend Picks - Cat Crave - Cat Crave - A Carolina Panthers Fan Site - News, Blogs, Opinion and more.

Cam Newton turned in an awesome rookie season for the Carolina Panthers

22-year old QB Cam Newton proved all of his naysayers wrong in his rookie year for the Panthers.  True, they were only 6-10 (37.5%) on the season….but it wasn’t Cam Newton and the offense’s fault.  Newton played in 16 games (all starts) for the Panthers in 2011 and he completed 310 of 517 passes (60%) for 4,051 yards with 21 TD passes and 17 INTs (84.5 QB Rating...

That is why free agency is so important for Carolina this...

Wild Card Pick ‘Em

Brandon and Eric both mentioned it: “the Panthers’ season may be over, but the NFL season is still going on.” So, like both of those men I’m going to do a pick’em. Luckily I still have a dog in the hunt. Being from Houston, I do hold a teenie tiny place in my heart for the Texans, and will be cheering for them today. That being said, Eric and Brandon...

Carolina Panthers counting on return of injured starters

Fans hoping for the Carolina Panthers to make a big splash in free agency might want to forget about those Mario Williams and Cortland Finnegan fantasies.

Defensive Prospects for Panthers pt. 2

This is the second edition of the five part series I’m doing on potential defensive players the Panthers might select in the upcoming Draft. Last week I started off with cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick from Alabama, and today I’m selecting a teammate of his. But as long as you’re selecting someone from an Alabama defense you really can’t go wrong. Courtney Upshaw...
