It looks as though the Ravens are going to proceed with playing their starters this week against the Bengals. With the exception of Haloti Ngata and Marshal Yanda added to the injury list, the Ravens seem to be recovering nicely. Analysts had expressed concern about losing momentum heading into the playoffs and that is the last thing anyone wants. Ray Lewis has already been ruled out for Sunday's game and Terrell Suggs most likely won't play because of the biceps tear. After suffering what was labeled a 'shoulder bruise' on Sunday against the Giants, Anquan Boldin was limited in practice on Wednesday. For the first time in three weeks Bernard Pollard practiced fully. He had been hindered by a chest injury that had kept him out of two straight games. Head Coach John Harbaugh had this to say about Pollard's return. "It was great. Bernard went through the full practice, so he was a full participant in practice. That was great to see. Obviously going forward, he is a big, big part of what we are doing-big part of our defense." Dannell Ellerbe, after returning to the field for the Giants game commented on his ankle saying that it was "not 100% but good enough to go."  Having the Ravens players healthy for the season finale will make a run in the playoffs much easier. As it stands the Ravens will host the Indianapolis Colts in the Wild Card round in two weeks at M&T Bank Stadium. The Ravens would sure enjoy having a host of players back on the field and ready to go.
