The Chicago Bears have a time-honored tradition at the Middle Linebacker position and Brian Urlacher was cut from the perfect mold to continue it.  Urlacher is everything that a Monster of the Midway should be; a tough, no-nonsense, physical player with a blue-collar approach to playing football.    Playing the same position as former Chicago defensive

  • Don't forget Bill George the Hall of Fame Bear's middle linebacker one of the first great middle linebackers. Urlacher makes big plays ala Ted Hendricks, he can turn games around. He is the one defender that Rodgers is susceptible to the interception on short throws. What really helps him is a solid front four rush and Lance Brigg's play. Brigg's may be the most under rated LB in the NFL, no one tackles more consistently than he does. Urlacher's only weakness is going after him in the run game straight on.
  • Uh, please don't go with Packers. They are so full of themselves. I like where you are & play great with interceptions & reading the QB.
This is the year for the Bears!!!!! It's time that everyone start eating, breathing, playing like it's the 1st day. FEEL IT IN YOUR SOULS!!!
Work on improving your game. Most of you know one another & should know what each other do. All of you need to find your weak spots, work alone or with each other. This is time for the Bears to start believing in yourselves & each other. CRUSH THE OPPONENTS!! That's what Bears do. Step up & prove everyone wrong.

Brian, whatever you decide it's your decision & no one can take that from you.
  • go Pack go brian will be a great asset. and the bears need to do alittle re building before its there year. start with a QB Cuttler SUCKS!!!
  • Come on up, Brian. We take care of our team and love them all.
  • You will be with champions in Green Bay.Come on home, the cheese is great.
  • The Packers certainly are lacking a veteran presence on the defensive side of the ball... what, with Charles Woodson and A.J. Hawk. Yeah, maybe given the chance Brian would sign with the Packers but he could just as likely sign with the Carolina Panthers. Why write this story? In other news I might (and I emphasize, might) have a burrito for dinner.
  • Washed up has-been. How bout you just head to the couch Urlacher.
  • This is the biggest waste of time article Ive ever read. He would NEVER sign with the pack. Anyone who has ever listened to him in a interview would know this. As far as washed up,check your stats my man. He was better than any LB the Pack had and still one of the best all around LBs in the game.Ray Lewis and Urlacher play the pass, rush the qb and tackle as well as anyone in the NFL,even Patrick Willis. So go ahead and hate on him, that just means he is still giving the pack and the league matchup nightmares.Cutler MVP candidate,Bears Super Bowl Champs!!!!! DA BEARS
