However it comes out, it’s hard to envision the Colts and Freeney coming to terms on a contract beyond this one.
Wherever Freeney ends up next year, it could really hurt his chances and options if he struggles with injuries all season. Hopefully, he can get back near 100% and build his case for a future, whether it’s with the Colts, or he ends up somewhere else.
