Adderall has been a controversial subject matter in the NFL because some players have been allowed to use it, while others have been suspended under the league’s drug policy for using it. New York Giants safety Will Hill returned to the team this week after serving a four-game suspension for using Adderall to treat his ADHD, and he has some strong thoughts on the matter.

“It is a medical condition and people do take it for medical (purposes),” Hill said, per Newsday. “I know there are other people who do take it for like, to be up, to have fun, things like that, but some people really need to take it because if they don’t take it, then what? There’s going to be problems. People are going to be agitated and things are going to go on. There’ll be people like me, I can’t take it no more.”

Hill says he began taking Adderall after being prescribed it earlier this year to treat his ADHD. Hill went undrafted out of Florida last year, but he was signed by the Giants in May. He says he didn’t find out until the rookie symposium that Adderall is a banned substance, and he knew he was in trouble because he had already taken a drug test.

The league allows players to use Adderall as long as they apply for a therapeutic usage exemption. Giants running back Andre Brown has such an exemption, while another Giants player, safety Tyler Sash, served a four-game suspension earlier this season after testing positive for Adderall. He did not have an exemption.

Hill says he is applying for an exemption, so it looks like he is handling matters. He just happened to have some rotten luck when it came to his suspension.

  • Of course they need Adderall. Since the NFL can't say what the substance was that the player they suspended used, they all now say it was Adderall (as if we all didn't know that explanation wasn't BS)

Steelers Offensive Line Breakdown – New York Giants – Week 9

Below is the week 9 offensive line breakdown for the Pittsburgh Steelers win over the New York Giants For a team that rushed for 158 yards you would think that the run blocking would have been consistently good.
