Let me preface this piece by stating that this is purely speculation on my part, but I believe that Kevin Kolb may have just pulled into second place on the depth chart at quarterback for the 2012 Arizona Cardinals. Even though Kolb has been announced as the early number one quarterback on the roster, the opportunity for John Skelton to steal the job was always there. And even though Ken Whisenhunt says Kolb should be able to practice “as early as this week,” don’t think that he would flat out say “yeah, Skelton is the guy now.” That just isn’t his style. For Kolb, the pressures of his big time contract seemed to overwhelm him last year and then playing through injuries after missing time didn’t help matters. Skelton swooped in when getting his opportunity and threw for 1,913 yards and 11 touchdowns while showing terrific poise in the pocket in the absence of the injured Kolb last season. Even before Kolb’s injury last night in the Hall of Fame game, this was going to be a tight c...

After the game, ParadigmShift35 headquarters had a...
