If the Jacksonville Jaguars do look at the waiver wire the next few days and over the course of the next week, they may be in the market for depth on the offensive line. Will Rackley, the team’s left guard, suffered what appears to be an ankle injury in the game against Philadelphia which will keep him out of action this week against Atlanta on Thursday night. The injury, according to John Oehser of the Jaguars.com, will not keep him out of action when the team opens the season on September 8 against Kansas City at home.Head coach Gus Bradley told the media Monday that he feared the injury could have been much worse and the injury could have been to the knee area.  Rackley missed all of last season after being injured in training camp. The third-year guard out of Lehigh is being counted on to team with Eugene Monroe on the left side of the Jaguars’ offensive line. The team had several injuries on the offensive line last season in addition to Rackley. Rookie right tackle Luke Joeckel was out of action last week against the New York Jets with a hip flexor but returned to action against Philadelphia and was solid against the run.Rackley was at practice on Monday but did not participate and was not wearing a protective boot.“We’re happy to hear it is just a sprained ankle,” Bradley said. “He’ll be out this week, but there is a good chance we will have him back for Kansas City.”In other notes…* The Jaguars are preparing for their game with Atlanta on the road Thursday. It will be the second game in a row that Chad Henne starts in the place of the injured Blaine Gabbert, who suffered a fractured thumb in the game against the Jets. It is expected that Gabbert will still be the opening game starter.* Maurice Jones-Drew will not play in the preseason finale against Atlanta. Jones-Drew will be kept out of the game as a precaution to avoid injury. He played in both the game against the Jets and the Eagles.* Justin Forsett, Chris Prosinski and Jeremy Mincey did not practice. Brandon Deaderick and Isaiah Stanback both returned to practice.
