Last week when the Saint Louis Rams played the Detroit Lions and Matthew Stafford, the Rams looked like they were getting the best out of the Lions.  Stafford was picked off 3 times by the Rams secondary but the Rams just could not finish the game.  Could RG3 have just as big of a game, or get exposed by both Corteland Finnegan and rookie Janoris Jenkins who both already have an interception on the year?  While RG3 was the only quarterback not to throw a pick in week one, could things change in week 2?

I expect the Redskins to run the ball a lot with Alfred Morris this week, as he will get a ton of carries in St. Louis.  If Alfred Morris can open up the firing lanes for his fellow rookie Robert Griffin III, it could be a long day for the Rams.  The Rams are a pretty young team, who has a ton of upside, but with the Redskins defense putting the pressure on the Rams young qb Bradford, expect this game to rely on RG3′s shoulders. If he can make the right reads he could be 2-0 and be the only rookie quarterback in that status. He could also be one of few quarterbacks to ever throw for 300 plus yards in his first two starts.  The Rams defense was horrible in the second half of last weeks game defending the wide outs.  They are currently ranked 32nd in the league and allowed 346 yards through the air.

My projections are that RG3 will have a huge game this week against the Rams, and the Redskins will win the game.  I also expect Janoris Jenkins to get his second career interception especially if he is gloving the number 2 wide out for Washington.  If you need a hundred yard rusher this week, Alfred Morris could be the guy that does it for you, and I am sure he is still available in most fantasy leagues as well.  Good Luck this week with the Redskins, Rams fans….

Jeff Fisher coached St. Louis Rams show us the true Matthew Stafford

With Leather’s Watch This: Oh Sweet Irony!

Watching Detroit Lions quarterback Matt Stafford poop the bed against the St. Louis Rams yesterday was rather bothersome for me, as I spent a quarter of my auction league cash on his three-pick-throwing ass a week ago. But then I remembered the above commercial for Monday Night Football and the irony tickled me enough to make me forget that he almost cost me my suicide pick, too...
