The Buc’s have also signed veteran Dallas Clark to a one-year deal.
Kellen Winslow was originally drafted by the Cleveland Browns out of the University of Miami with the sixth overall pick in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He has since spent the past 3 years in Tampa Bay. Recently, Winslow told SiriusXM NFL Radio that new coach Greg Schiano had said he no longer fit the team’s plans and that the Buccaneers would try to trade him. Schiano also implied the Buc’s had grown unhappy with the fact that Winslow hadn’t taken part in off-season workouts with his teammates.
The Seahawks made the trade without renegotiating Winslow’s current contract that pays him a base salary of $3.3 million in 2012. Although, it is unlikely that Winslow will put up any fight to restructuring his current deal, as it seems he is nearing the end of his career.
At 33 Dallas Clark is no spring chicken either, but he does come with more experience and a far greater resume that the team can really benefit from. The Buccaneers felt “Dallas Clark is a consummate pro and proven playmaker,” Tampa Bay general manager Mark Dominik said. “He will be another asset, on and off the field, for our team.

With the Saints roster mostly set and training camp around the corner, I thought I'd identify 5 available free agents that would greatly help the team's depth at a somewhat affordable price. For what it's worth, Dallas Clark was on this list until he signed with the Buccaneers earlier this week.
