PLAYERS: Greg Little
TEAMS: Cleveland Browns
The Cleveland Browns have lost 6 of the 7 games they have played with their 29-year-old rookie quarterback. Some say the Browns are a better team than they were last season. With all the losses it is all the Little improvements that are going unnoticed. Greg Little that is. In the last game Greg Little caught 6 passes for  52 yards and a touchdown, Little showed great  poise when he was in the end-zone and didn’t stand up and celibate.  The week earlier, Little caught 3 passes for 18 yards and some of those catches against the Bengals were instrumental for the Browns offense. If it wasn’t for Greg Little in the Indy game the Browns would have only scored one touchdown. After Little left New York without any receptions Greg Little has shown great improvement receiving the football. Little has caught 9 passes in his last two games and has held onto them. If Little can steadily continue to improve, he has the making s of becoming an elite N.F.L. receiver. Little has the moves the size ...

Browns’ Jason Pinkston remains hospitalized with blood clot

The big show stopped by today and brought me a ton of stuff that was pretty awseome — Jason Pinkston (@JasonPinkstonOL) October 22, 2012 Tweeting from his hospital bed, Cleveland Browns offensive lineman Jason Pinkston has been interacting with fans and updating them on his status since being admitted to the Cleveland Clinic with a blood clot in his lung. Pinkston apparently had...

Chargers vs. Browns – Reader Survey

It’s that time of week again. Last week we had over 250 people weigh in and we’ve had about that pretty much every week. I think it only gets more and more interesting to see how Browns fans react to maybe the most inconsistent team we’ve seen since 1999. I know that’s saying a lot, but it seems to me the sense of disappointment over this team right now reflects an optimism...

Browns knew what they were doing with Josh Gordon pick

Credit the Browns with taking the risk in the supplementary draft sticking their neck out for a problematic player like Josh Gordon. No one ever questioned his physical ability on the football field, it was the luggage that he brings with the off the field issues. After seven weeks in the 2012 year, the Browns look to have an exciting core of offensive players after extensive criticism...

Meet the AFC, the new NBA Eastern Conference

For the better part of the 2000’s, the NBA had a major balance issue. The Western Conference soared far above their Eastern counterparts, regularly turning the Finals into a prolonged version of the victory formation rather than a climactic battle. Dynastic teams such as the Lakers and Spurs were the obvious standouts, but the West also featured other powerful squads such as the...

The Browns New Owner Has To Sit Trent Richardson To Heal If He Expects To Get His Monies Worth

Since the Browns head coach doesn’t have the mental capacity to make the determination about Trent Richardson’s health it is time for the Browns new owner to step in and force Shurmur to sit T-Rich until he is healthy enough to come back strong. The Cleveland Browns have a very able running back in Montario Hardesty who could step in without even missing a beat. Hardesty has...

Browns guard Pinkston still in hospital

BEREA, Ohio (AP) -- Cleveland Browns guard Jason Pinkston remains hospitalized with blood clots in his lungs. Pinkston was rushed to the Cleveland Clinic on Thursday with the life-threatening condition. He had been feeling poorly for most of last week and had gotten ill during the previous Sunday's game against Cincinnati. The 25-year-old will likely miss the remainder of this...

Grossi: Holmgren did “absolute minimum” while in Cleveland

It takes a serious blow for anyone on a team with the best left tackle in the game to be blindsided by any play, but when Randy Lerner decided to sell the majority portion of the Cleveland Browns back in June, team president Mike Holmgren found himself face down with a mask full of field turf. ESPNCleveland’s Tony Grossi’s latest discusses the man who was brought in to fix the...

Transcript: Mike Holmgren’s Farewell Press Conference

We don’t post all press conferences, but this one signaling the end of the Mike Holmgren era seemed worth adding to the site. Or, you can skip it and read Scott’s artful take on it. (Opening statement) – “I’d like to start off by thanking Randy Lerner, first of all, for giving me the opportunity to come to Cleveland. My year off when he came to visit me in Arizona, he...

Trent Richardson To Be Evaluated Week-to-Week

Cleveland running back Trent Richardson (ribs) will be evaluated on a week-to-week basis, Browns coach Mike Shurmur said according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Shurmur pulled Richardson Sunday after just eight carries but didn't give a definitive reason other than saying, "There were some things happening out there where we weren't having efficiency running the football...

Browns Lose….But Weeden Improves

Lost in all of the Pat Shurmur play-calling bashing, questions about the health of Trent Richardson, the special teams disaster, the extra point gaff by Reggie Hodges, and of course the big drop by Josh Gordon was the stellar play of rookie QB Brandon Weeden. Remember back after the 17-16 season-opening loss to Philadelphia, half of the city was already done with Weeden? The Colt...

Season over for Browns LB Fujita

Browns starting linebacker Scott Fujita will be placed on injured reserve with a neck injury, ending his stormy season - and perhaps his football career.

Cleveland Browns: Week 8 NFL Power Rankings (#29)

Last week: 31 (+2) Record: 1-6 Despite their loss, the Browns move up. Last week, I mentioned I consdered putting the Browns ahead of the rest of the 1 win teams and some of the 2 win teams because they’ve been competitive in every game despite their record (worst in the league at 1-6). This [...]
