Sportsday:
Preseason games usually aren't very entertaining, much less the pregame and postgame activities. There could be an exception tonight with Greg Ellis in a Raiders uniform.
It'll be interesting to see what, if any, interaction Ellis has with DeMarcus Ware. The pass rushers always had a good relationship, but Ellis put Ware in an uncomfortable position with the bizarre claims that the All-Pro would hide from the coaches to force them to give Ellis more playing time last season.
Ware, who played almost 98 percent of the defensive snaps last season, was too kind to strongly shoot down Ellis' claims. Perhaps Ware simply preferred to let common sense take its course.
But Bradie James firmly called bull on Ellis.
"We'll get a chance to 'chop it up' with him, as we say," James said of seeing Ellis. "In other words, talk to him and it will be fine."
