This week's schedule for the Vikings and the rest of the league is as follows: *Tuesday: Teams can make trades, sign drafted/undrafted free agents (starting at 9 a.m. CST), negotiation with free agents and host players at their facility for "training, conditioning" and "classroom" work. *Thursday: Waiver period begins -- Teams can cut players at 3:01 p.m. *Friday: At 5 p.m., full-blown free agency starts. Between now and Friday night, the Vikings must craft a quick, decisive blueprint for success that will assess the current roster, fill positional needs and place them under the salary cap line before the league year starts.
