NFL football is brains and bronze. That’s why the Wonderlic test is part of the combine’s array of testing - to test a player’s IQ. The test is comprised of 50 questions, and players have 12 minutes to complete the assessment. The average score in the NFL is a 21.
While a high score on the Wonderlic doesn’t guarantee success in the NFL, the test is still administered to get a better feel for the athlete as a whole.
