Tom Brady and the New England Patriots have been through a lot before the first preseason game has even been played, but to Philadelphia Eagles WR Brandon Boykin, they are in mid-season form.
Brady has been shredding the rebuilt Eagles defensive secondary to a point even seasoned analyst were left gushing.

Look camp practices everyone is optimistic but I'm telling y'all Brady was just ridiculous. Don't get to see things like that too often – Jay Glazer of Fox Sports via Twitter
As for Boykin:
"I can speak for the whole team. I felt like (Tuesday), honestly they came out with this attitude to try to bully us," Boykin said, via Marc Sessler of NFL.com
"And even though it's practice, it's always still a game tempo. I think as a team -- and obviously I can speak for myself -- I wanted to try to set the tone on myself as an aggressive person (Wednesday) and just make plays."

Could you have imagined a better situation for Chip Kelly’s first game in the NFL? Hollywood couldn’t have written it any better. Tonight Kelly not only faces his first NFL preseason game with his offense, he plays against one of the only NFL coaches who knows something about the Kelly offense. The Philadelphia Eagles take in the New England Patriots. You have to recall last...
We expected some hiccups along the way, and it’s probably not fair to judge the Philadelphia Eagles secondary after just a few practice games. But we were expecting, as I said, some hiccups. Not a flat out dry heave. However one player, Brandon Boykin, the Eagles fourth-round draft pick [...]The post Curtis Marsh, Eagles Secondary, Struggles Against Pats Offense appeared first...
First year Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly may need to step away from the college mentality a little.
Kelly has refused to name a starting quarterback throughout training camp.
So when Michael Vick was penned as the preseason opener’s starter on Friday night against New England, it looked like an answer may have finally been hinted.

Bryce Brown has not had the best training camp. He has been bouncing runs to the outside and dropping passes. It may have opened the door for another RB to take his spot. That guy could be Chris Polk.
“Daniel Jeremiah of NFL Network made the observation after watching practice that Chris Polk could be ahead of Brown and be the No. 2 running back behind LeSean McCoy. It’s...
Michael Vick will start for the Philadelphia Eagles in their preseason opener against New England on Friday night because coach Chip Kelly says it's his turn to go first in the quarterback rotation.
Nick Foles also will take snaps with the starters, and Kelly says the second-year pro will start the second preseason game. Both Vick and Foles are expected to get between 12 and...
The Philadelphia Eagles struggled through multiple injuries
to their offensive line last season, causing their offense in general to
register a disappointing campaign. Unfortunately for Philly, the 2013 season is
off to an eerily similar start. Left tackle Jason Peters will miss tonight’s
preseason opener with a hamstring ailment, and right tackle Dennis Kelly will be
out for the...
With the Eagles first pre-season game on the docket and more than two weeks of practice in the books, the defense is anything but complete and ready to go.
After looking at the offense more in-depth early this week (QB Battle, Deadly tight end-built formation, replacing Maclin), here’s my look at what to consider when it comes to the Philly defense.
It has been evident in society for quite sometime; it is often covered up and even talked about behind closed doors. The fact that racism still exists, even in the sports world. It seems that every time you turn on the TV, you see or hear an instance where something is thought of as “racially motivated”.Even in the sports world where men of different color go to battle with...
Michael Vick will be the starting quarterback for Friday’s pre-season game against the New England Patriots.
This isn’t really a surprise as most of us felt like Chip Kelly was going to name Vick the starter for the pre-season. He has also stated that it doesn’t really matter who starts because both Vick and Nick Foles will be getting anywhere between 12 and 20 snaps on Friday...
Eagles quarterback Michael Vick will start the 2013 exhibition opener, according to Sal Paolantonio.Fantasy Spin:It still doesn't mean that Vick will end up starting for the Eagles in 2013, but it appears he's a better fit for the Chip Kelly offense and ahead of Nick Foles and Matt Barkley at this time.
The New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles open their respective preseason slates Friday night at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
The game can be seen on television on WBZ Channel 4 in Boston and NFL Network or heard on 98.5 The Sports Hub, with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.
Friday will mark the 21st preseason meeting between the two teams, with the all-time...
