The Miami Dolphins had not officially announced their roster cuts more than 1 12 hours after Saturday's 6 p.m. deadline for teams to get down to the 53-player limit.
But the Miami Herald reported wide receivers Chad Bumphis and Brian Tyms were among the players let go.
Bumphis seemed to confirm on Twitter, writing "Well It was a fun experience and I appreciate the opportunity. So much respect for the people in the dolphins organization."
The Herald said running back Jonas Gray was waived Saturday morning. Gray missed his entire rookie season in 2012 while battling back from a knee injury suffered while at Notre Dame.
The Herald also reported offensive linemen Chris Barker and Sam Brenner were among those cut, and tight end Kyle Miller would be waived but remained a possibility for Miami's practice squad.
