Former Denver Broncos wide reviver Eddie Royal has signed with the San Diego Chargers, according to multiple reports. No more Royal treatment for Broncos fans evidently, as the fourth-year veteran has signed with the Broncos’ most despised division rival.
Royal signed a three-year deal with San Diego, after catching 19 passes for 155 yards and a touchdowns last season. Known as a better special teams/return player than as a receiver, Royal is 25 years old.
With Royal now in San Diego, Matthew Willis has jumped to third on Denver’s depth chart — instantly making the receiver position one which needs to be improved by the Broncos. Expect the team to either add one in free agency and/or draft one in April.
Really Eddie? It wouldn’t be appropriate for me to write what I think of you now.

Mike Klis of the Denver Post believes the Broncos remain the leader to land quarterback Peyton Manning.
It is believed to be a two-team competition between Denver and Tennessee to win the Manning sweepstakes, and owners of Tim Tebow in keeper leagues should cross their fingers that he goes to the AFC South club. And, of course, it is worth pointing out that rising star...

As Manning Watch approaches seemingly unendurable Day Seven, there’s one thing to note — the Denver Broncos, the first serious potential suitors of Peyton Manning, remain patient.
They aren’t pestering the future Hall of Famer. They aren’t calling him or his agent every time Manning gets on a...
Denver Broncos quarterback (for now) Tim Tebow made a whirlwind tour of several Montana towns recently and was in Butte as part of a fundraising event for Habitat for Humanity. And while the superstar was graciously received , the presence of Tebow — at least in the city of Butte — did not raise the [...]
RALEIGH, N.C. -- The Denver Broncos seem to be headed for another meeting with Peyton Manning. The four-time NFL MVP and top free agent of the offseason has not signed with a new team since being released March 7 by the Indianapolis Colts. On Friday, the same plane that picked up the star quarterback for a session with Broncos brass late last week was en route to the Raleigh...
The Chargers needed a deep threat to replace Vincent Jackson and may have found themselves quite a bargain in the talented Robert Meachem.
Meachem will slide into the number two role in this offense and has a chance to supplant Malcolm Floyd as the effective number one option before the season is complete.
Meachem goes from a crowded receiving corps in New Orleans to one with a...
The Denver Broncos have made an offer to Peyton Manning according to the Denver Post. They offered Peyton roughly $60 million over 5 years with $30 million guaranteed. After being 95% sure that they were getting Manning, Broncos seem to have been put on the back burner and now Tennessee is the new front runner
The Cleveland Browns stood by and watched as Mike “Pops” Adams signs with the Denver Broncos. The Cleveland Fans have seen two players leave Cleveland in the past two days through free agency. Mike Adams is the one who will be missed the most, he was a very productive part of the Cleveland Browns pass defense that finished the season ranked second in the NFL, with that being...
The Broncos must have just wrapped up their physical evaluation of Peyton Manning as John Elway just posted the following in Twitter.
Stay tuned as the show continues.
Peyton Manning will work out for Denver Broncos team officials on Friday at Duke University.
The Denver Post reported that Broncos head of football operations John Elway was part of a contingent that flew from Denver to Raleigh-Durham on Friday.
Denver and Tennessee are considered the leading contenders to sign Manning, who also met with the Miami Dolphins and Arizona Cardinals...
Kevin Acee, San Diego Chargers beat writer for the San Diego Union-Tribune, reports tonight on Twitter that unrestricted free agent running back Mike Tolbert is expected to land with either the Pittsburgh Steelers or Carolina Panthers. Acee added that he was told that the Tolbert situation isn't like the Malcom Floyd one in 2011, who returned last year after his deal was dead...
You can't fault Philip Rivers' competitive nature, even as the team around him looks like it's falling apart. The San Diego Chargers missed the playoffs last season and conceded the AFC West crown to the Tim Tebow led Denver Broncos. Now Rivers would love to see the Broncos bring Peyton Manning aboard. Not because he has a personal vendetta against the guy. It's because...
