We'll see if Renaldo Wynn's third stint as a Redskins lasts longer than his second. The team released punter Glenn Pakulak today and re-signed the veteran defensive end this afternoon, just two days after releasing him. Pakulak was essentially a punter-for-rent who filled in for an injured Hunter Smith against the Carolina Panthers. Today's roster move likely means coaches are confident Smith will be ready to go Sunday against Kansas City. Smith injured his groin against the Bucs. With so many other topics to discuss, Coach Jim Zorn did not address the punter situation at his media availability earlier today. Pakulak had five punts against the Panthers, averaging 38.4 yards (35.6 net). Wynn, a 13-year veteran, played with the Redskins from 2002-06.
