Found March 11, 2011 on Stripe Hype:

According to CincyJungle, Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden was at the workout of TCU quarterback Andy Dalton. In my mind, Dalton is a very intriguing prospect for the Bengals. For one, he isn’t expected to be drafted until the second round at the earliest, saving the Bengals a big, bonafide stud pick in Round One. Secondly, he’s a proven winner, having lost only three games in his college career (and, I believe, setting a record for games won in the process). Thirdly, he’s extremely accurate with a completion rate above 60-percent. And finally, he seems to have all the intangibles you could want, which translates into a safe pick in the character department.

Athletically, he may not be the most impressive draft prospect, but I don’t believe Norman Esiason was either. And he had a pretty nice run in Cincinnati. So Dalton seems to make a lot of sense.
