Cincinnati Bengals Blog:
On Friday, head coach Marvin Lewis expressed his concerns about Rey Maualuga’s latest off-field incident but said that all the details haven’t been released.
At the NFL Scouting Combine, defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer also expressed his concerns and noted “at some point in time we all have to grow up.”
Added Zimmer: “You know what? If I’m out at a bar and somebody challenges me, then I have to walk away. I consider myself kind of a tough guy, but I’m smart enough to understand. That happened to me one time. I was in Cincinnati. I was in a parking lot. We flip each other off. He gets out of the car and he’s coming up. Little bitty scrawny guy…I had to make a decision. Am I going to beat the crap out of this guy and I may get fined or every other thing? Or do I swallow my pride and go on?”
During Zimmer’s first four seasons, he also discussed how important it was to his scheme to have two great cover corners in Leon Hall and Johnathan Joseph. However with Joseph no longer in Cincinn

INDIANAPOLIS -- Marvin Lewis admitted a coach is never sure. But compare the aura surrounding the Cincinnati Bengals this postseason to a year ago and its as if the Bengals have been re-gilded. They are coming off a playoff appearance and look to the draft with two first-round picks.
We have a good opportunity ahead of us, Lewis said at the NFL Scouting Combine.
To say the least...
There's been a lot of recent debate about how the Bengals should go about filling their number two receiver position this off-season. Marvin Lewis recently made it seem like they have no interest in signing a veteran to start opposite A.J. Green. News broke at the NFL Combine today that the Bengals have approached head coach Marvin Lewis about a contract extension that would keep him in Cincinnati past this season. What do you think? Vote now.
Big news out of Allen, Texas this weekend where a broke guy returned to the football field because, well, he has no choice. What other football job can Terrell Owens get these days besides playing indoor football in Allen, Texas? None. So there was T.O. Saturday night getting his first catch & TD in the 2nd quarter of the Allen Wranglers season debut.
Hate T.O.? This will bring...

The Scouting Combine seems like it's becoming a mockery of itself. More and more we hear how forming opinions of the workouts is a waste of time and that the biggest impact of the event happens in meetings behind closed doors. In essence, it's become nothing more than a media monster where coaches and general managers are pressed for specifics...
Terrell Owens is playing in the Indoor Football League. I honestly didn’t even realize this until yesterday. He’s playing for the Allen Wranglers of Texas. His first catch was for a TD. It isn’t exactly playing with Steve Young in San Francisco, but at least the guy is getting some reps.

While perusing the usual stomping grounds for items that then can be stomped out on my keyboard, I took a closer look at one of the articles regarding receiver Terrell Owens‘ return to football as a member of the IFL’s Allen Wranglers. Yes, he had three catches for three touchdowns in the second quarter, after…
He's still a self-promoting douche.
