To say that Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer is upset about his unit’s lack of interceptions would be an understatement. In typical Zimmer fashion, he did not mince words about what he expects from his pass defense going into Sunday’s game against Houston. “I am going to start changing guys out if they don’t start doing it better,” Zimmer said. “I am going to tell them that today. I am tired of it. I am tired of guys getting balls caught on us. No interceptions. Not seeing stuff. I will change out guys. I am tired of it. “ Through 11 games, the Bengals have only six interceptions, which is tied for the second fewest in the league. The team record for least interceptions in a season is nine, which happened in 1974, 2000 and 2002. A big reason for the paucity in interceptions is the secondary continues to be thin.
