Jim Zorn is running down the injuries at the moment and the major one, of course, concerns tight end Chris Cooley, who has a chip on the bottom part of his tibia, according to Zorn. "[Cooley] is looking at getting a final evaluation from another doctor to see if he needs surgery. He'll be out a minimum of six-to-eight weeks ... so I'm probably looking at putting him on IR [the season-ending injured-reserve list]. He thinks he heals fast and all that kind of stuff and he probably does, but don't think I can keep a roster spot open." Zorn went on to call the loss of Cooley "devastating" and added that he "is such a good player for us...the loss of him on the field -- and his fight... he brings the fight to the field."
