Eagles Make Puzzling Move, Release Feeley for DT Dixon

Dixon (96) was a four-year player at "The U"So we reported here at 2M2MG.com that the Eagles would be trading quarterback A.J. Feeley. However, it appears as though the Eagles saw fit to instead cut the quarterback in favor of a rookie free agent defensive tackle from the Washington Redskins instead.Usually, I give Andy Reid and the rest of the Eagles front office the benefit...

Eagles claim DT Dixon, waive Feeley

After the Eagles released their 53 man roster yesterday, it became apparent that it was a work in progress. The Birds chose to keep only two tight ends and three defensive tackles while they had extra receivers and quarterbacks stashed away. It didn't last for long, as the Eagles made their first moves today to clean up the roster a bit, claiming defensive tackle Antonio Dixon...

Eagles cut DT Dan Klecko

It's cut day in the NFL, and the Eagles have made their first cut: defensive tackle Dan Klecko. Klecko Comes Home

As a pair of Temple students, Aaron and I are thrilled to hear that the Eagles have signed DT/FB and former Owl Dan Klecko to a one-year deal. Klecko played for the Indianapolis Colts last season and most recently played tackle, but the Birds will likely use his services as a fullback after parting ways with Thomas Tapeh recently.
