TRAGEDY: Philadelphia Eagles Wide Receiver Jason Avant’s Father Killed in Car Crash
The father of Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jason Avant was killed in a car accident in New Jersey on Thursday.
Jerry Avant, 51, lost control of his SUV on a wet road and crashed into some trees. Police told the Burlington County Times that he was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
