Omar Gaither out vs. Colts.
INDIANAPOLIS
Another Panthers linebacker is missing another game due to injury.
Let's hope the team's linebackers didn't all eat the fish on the charter flight ("Airplane" reference, kids, Google it).
Weakside linebacker Omar Gaither, who reinjured his knee last week at Detroit, did not make the trip to Indy today and will miss Sunday's game against the...

Panthers not planning to add a linebacker
With Omar Gaither getting a more optimistic prognosis on his knee injury than originally thought, the Panthers have no immediate plans to sign another linebacker.
Gaither left Sunday's game against New Orleans in the first half after landing awkwardly and tweaking his knee. The Charlotte native and former Myers Park standout was diagnosed with a sprained MCL and bone bruise....

Gaither Signs; Preseaon Schedule Released
Omar Gaither became the latest Eagle to sign his one-year tender. I’m still not sure he has a role on the team, what with his multiple benchings and recovery from a Lisfranc jinury. We shall see.
In other unexciting news, the NFL finally unveiled its preseason schedule. Hooray! The Eagles will open at home with the Jaguars, then travel to Cincinnati for a primetime FOX tussle...

Eagles place Gaither on IR, sign RB P.J. Hill
In a move we have expected for the last few days, the Eagles have placed LB Omar Gaither on the injured list, ending his season. Gaither underwent surgery last week after he suffered a Lisfranc surgery, so it was only a matter of time before the Birds stashed him away for the rest of the year. The injury to Gaither was the whole reason the Eagles brought in Will Witherspoon.To...

Omar Gaither Done for the Year with Lis Franc Sprain
Losing Gaither is a huge blow to this Eagles 'D'.We all knew that Omar Gaither's foot injury was more serious than what was being let on once the Eagles swung a trade for the Rams' Will Witherspoon. However I'm not sure anyone thought the prognosis would be a Lis Franc sprain and season-ending surgery. But that's where the Eagles stand now. It's another...

Gaither to Have Surgery — Likely Out for Season
Andy Reid announced today that Omar Gaither will need surgery for a Lisfranc injury suffered last week. He will likely be lost for the season. The acquisition of Will Witherspoon was indeed a desperate move. The Eagles were fortunate that Gaither’s injury happened just before the trade deadline.

If It's Gaither You Want, It's Gaither You Got & Other Notes From Game 3
The experiment appears
to be over, and the Eagles have inserted Omar Gaither back into the
starting middle linebacker job this week. Nobody campaigned louder for
Joe Mays' opportunity than us, but with the season quickly approaching
and roughly zero positive standout moments for the second year player,
it's time to make the switch.Hugh Douglas...
