Lions willing to trade Alphonso Smith

According to Jason LaCanfora of the NFL Network, the Detroit Lions are willing to trade cornerback Alphonso Smith. LaCanfora indicated that the Lions have offered Smith to at least one team. Smith was a second round pick of the Broncos back in 2009. The Lions need major upgrades at the cornerback position, either through the draft or free agency.
