Lions cornerback Alphonso Smith was fined $15,750 for his horsecollar tackle on receiver Brandon Marshall in Mondays nights loss to the Chicago Bears.
Smith was called for a penalty early in the second quarter when he tackled Marshall by the shoulder with two hands after a 15-yard gain.

Alphonso Smith heard the trade rumors. He just tried to ignore them.
The report first surfaced in late February from the NFL Networks Jason LaConfora, who said that the Lions are willing to move Smith and have shopped him to at least one team.

Lions willing to trade Alphonso Smith
According to Jason LaCanfora of the NFL Network, the Detroit Lions are willing to trade cornerback Alphonso Smith.
LaCanfora indicated that the Lions have offered Smith to at least one team.
Smith was a second round pick of the Broncos back in 2009.
