Chargers Cut SS Atari Bigby
The San Diego Chargers have parted ways with SS Atari Bigby according to Aaron Wilson of Fox Sports\Scout.com.
The 32-year-old Bigby was signed to a two-year contract last offseason and started 11 games for the Chargers in 2012. He logged 68 tackles and no interceptions before ending the season in injured reserve after suffering a groin injury. The market for Bigby's services...
Chargers Injury Report: Atari Bigby Done for the Season
The San Diego Chargers got bad news Tuesday when Atari Bigby's injury was evaluated further. The 31-year old safety left Sunday's game in the first half. He was unable to return in the Chargers' loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
According to Michael Gehlken of the North County Times, Bigby underwent further tests on Tuesday that revealed his groin injury to be significant...
Atari Bigby gives a whole new way to do pregame intros
This assuredly must be a first, when it comes to NFL player introductions. Here's Atari Bigby of the San Diego Chargers giving his player introduction during Sunday Night Football on NBC:
As you can see, he introduced himself from "the University of Jah Rastafari High." Now, and I'm not 100% dead certain, but I believe he's the first of his kind here....
Atari Bigby says he went to University of Jah Rastafari during SNF intros, and I believe him
I have a feeling the league may be contacting Atari very soon for a “random” drug test.During the Chargers defense introductions on Sunday Night Football, safety Atari Bigby proclaims he went to University of Jah Rastafari. Maybe it’s the dreadlocks, maybe it’s the stoned look on his face, maybe it’s his Doritos breath I caught a whiff on my patented Smell-O-Vision, but...
Atari Bigby was probably high for his SNF intro (VIDEO)
This has got to be a first.
For his Sunday Night Football introduction during last night’s Chargers-Saints game, San Diego Saftety Atari Bigby announced to the world that he was a proud alumnus of the “University of JAH RASTAFARI”. Not exactly a shocking revelation considering Bigby’s long-flowing dreadlocks.
But looking at his eyes, there’s a pretty good chance Bigby...
Atari Bigby claims to be proud graduate of University of Jah Rastafari (Video)
San Diego Chargers safety Atari Bigby had some fun filming his player intro for NBC that aired during Sunday night's NFL game against the New Orleans Saints as he proclaimed that he went to college at "University of Jah Rastafari".
Wonder where that school is located in relation to Ball So Hard University.
In reality, Bigby actually attended the University...
Atari Bigby Acknowledges Jamaican Roots on Sunday Night Football, Attended the 'University of Jah Rastafari'
It's always fun to see where players will say they went to school on their Sunday Night Football intros. Most players take the boring route and just say the name of their college, Miami-products will usually say "The U," Randy Moss will typically say "Rand U" and some players name their high school. Atari Bigby took another route. The Jamaican-born Chargers...
WAIT WHAT?
Atari Bigby: University of Jah Rastafari High?
Atari Bigby’s Sunday Night Football intro on NBC was a first as far as we are concerned. Bigby introduced himself as repping the University of Jah Rastafari High. We are not one to argue, so we are just happy that he participated. We do wonder if he knows Snoop Lion.

San Diego Chargers Atari Bigby went to the "University of Jah Rastafari" (Video)
One of my favorite parts of Sunday Night Football has to be the player introductions since some of the NFL talent have become pretty creative with where their went to college/high school.
During tonight's Chargers/Saints affair, San Diego's Atari Bigby decided to let his Rastafari flag fly:
After taking a gander at his Wikipedia page, Atari was born in Jamaica and chose...
Atari Bigby to start for Chargers?
Atari Bigby was a starter at safety for the Packers a few years ago, but injuries have sapped his abilities and turned him into a reserve for the Packers and Seahawks over the past few years, when healthy. Now in San Diego, it appears Bigby will be given another shot to start. Bigby is working out with the 1st team in OTAs, ahead of 3rd round rookie Brandon Taylor, but nothing is...
