CONNOR BARTH RUMORS & GOSSIP

Connor Barth satisfied with PAT rule change

Denver Broncos kicker Connor Barth doesn’t seem to mind the new rule change passed by the owners on Tuesday which moves the extra point ball placement back from the 2-yard line to the 15. By doing so, the once automatic extra-point now becomes slightly more difficult at a distance of 33 yards. Whelp the value of the kicking position just went up! Thanks @nfl for the rule change...

Broncos' kicker Barth thinks the NFL missed on its PAT change

Many kickers probably aren't pleased with the NFL's latest rule change. Count Denver's Connor Barth among them. He Broncos kicker says he's "kind of old school" and sees no reason to push extra point tries to the 15-yard line. "It'll probably change the percentages a little bit, but we're all pretty good kickers, and I still think we'll be in the high 90 percent range on extra points...

Denver Broncos: Kicking woes

Welcome to the Denver Broncos, Connor Barth! After signing a two year deal with the team last Tuesday, Barth made quite the first impression last Sunday. Tying a franchise record and setting his own career high, Barth went 5-for-5 in Denver’s 29-16 trouncing of the Kansas City Chiefs. Converting on chip shots from 22, 24, 30, 33 and 37 yards, Barth was impeccable in his accuracy...

Is Connor Barth the Turning Point to Success?

Connor Barth. If saying that name doesn’t make you cringe somehow you might not be human. In a league full of players with names like Ziggy Hood, Frostee Rucker, Guy Whimper, and Captain Mutherlyn, there is a man named Connor Barth. Every time I say it I feel like I am cursing in German. I just know that the first 46-yard field goal that Barth doinks off the upright, Twitter will...

Fulltime kicker, dynamic returner on Bucs' wish list

Last season was one of improvisation on special teams for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs entered the fall expecting Connor Barth, one of the franchise's most reliable kickers, to continue with his duties. However, an Achilles tear in his right leg sustained in July during a charity basketball game changed those plans. Lawrence Tynes was signed as Barth's replacement, but the...
