Bengals' McElroy retires from NFL

The Bengals added a quarterback Thursday in Jason Campbell and lost one Friday in Greg McElroy. Bengals QB Greg McElroy Announces Retirement

Cincinnati Bengals QB Greg McElroy announced his retirement from the NFL today via twitter. McElroy was a seventh-round pick of the New York Jets in the 2011 Draft.  He was signed to the Cincinnati Bengals practice squad in 2013. McElroy did play in two games in the 2012 season with the Jets posting 214 yards with a touchdown and an interception.
