Alex Smith is probably a little underrated. There is something to be said for a quarterback that does the right thing the majority of the time. He gets slandered a lot and I think John Lynch was just trying to give him a compliment, but went a tad bit too far with it.
I would have loved to have seen the over/under for amount of money John Lynch would have gotten fined and/or amount of games suspended if the NFL’s targeting rule was in use during Lynch’s time.
