Anatomy of a Touchdown: How Knile Davis got loose for a 99 yard kick return

Not only did this score lead to the Chiefs taking a commanding...

Watch: Knile Davis returns kickoff 99 yards for TD

Knile Davis sure knows how to kick off the second half. In the first play coming out from halftime with the Kansas City Chiefs leading the St. Louis Rams 10-7, the second-year running back fielded a bouncing kickoff. With plenty of white shirts in sight, he took off down the right side of the field, dodging a few tackles along the way en route a captivating 99-yard touchdown return.

Knile Davis scores one of his two touchdowns Sunday against San Diego. (kcchiefs.com) The Kansas City Chiefs lost their final game of the season on Sunday 27-24 in overtime to the division rival San Diego Chargers. Christmas Gifts: Knile Davis and others set to give a week 17 fantasy boost

Knile Davis – RB, Kansas City Chiefs –  I can’t imagine a scenario where Jamaal Charles has any more than 10 touches against San Diego, meaning that Davis could find his biggest workload of the season. San Diego is a bottom 10 matchup for RBs and Davis hasn’t rolled over the competition in his limited action this season, but with a steady diet of carries he could do some...
