Rams place wide receiver on injured reserve
The St. Louis Rams have placed Mark Clayton on injured reserve, pulling the plug on the wide receiver's adversity-filled season.
Coach Steve Spagnuolo says Clayton has had issues with both knees and was in pain earlier in the practice week.

Clayton has been on the physically unable to perform list while recovering from a ruptured patellar tendon ended his season in Week 5 in 2010.
